This publication is a conversion of the Arizona Geological Survey's Map-35, "Geologic Map of Arizona - 2000" into an ESRI File Geodatabase. This ESRI File Geodatabase was created in 2013 as a manual trace of the original Map 35 (2000) and DGM-17 (2002) statewide map images for use in an Online Geologic Map of Arizona. The website hosting this online map version was later shut down in 2022. The purpose of this 2025 (re)publication is to restore public access to the 2013 ESRI File Geodatabase while also lightly altering it to make it more compatible with the 2020 USGS Geologic Map Schema. Because this product is a conversion of a conversion, any deviations from the original Map-35 product should not be taken as geologically meaningful.
