AbstractHealthy eating is really the first step in taking care of diabetes. Making good food choices and staying active are important. Eating less fat - especially saturated fat - is one way to decrease the risk for heart disease. This article provides information about different food nutrients and how their intake can be monitored to take care of diabetes.
