The effects of lithium on auditory evoked potential and electroencephalogram spectral edges are examined. The nature of the relationship between spectral edge and serum lithium concentration is investigated, with the goal of establishing a unique and functional relationship, thus enabling the spectral edge to be used as an index, or surrogate measurement, of serum lithium concentration.Type
