Residential green building is gaining increased attention around the United States. Interviews with five production home builders from different markets in the western United States explore green building practices among production builders. Examination of what production builders are doing that is considered green, motivations for building green and advantages of green homes helps to inform planners of measures that can be taken to encourage the growth of green building in home construction.Type
