A search and review of literature on riparian vegetation was made. From the literature, articles were extracted which contained management suggestions, specifically concerning wildlife and riparian vegetation. A compilation of riparian vegetation types in the southwestern United States was made, with problem summaries and management recommendations for development of a riparian management file. This file will be part of the RUN WILD computer storage and retrieval system of the Rocky Mountain Forest and Range Experiment Station.Type
