| dc.description.abstract | 1990 was a good year for corn yields, and 1991 was even better. The two new hybrids by Pioneer and Northrup King (Pioneer 3162 and NK N8318) were at the top of the list again, but yielding around 1000 pounds per acre more than last year. The Pioneer hybrid yielded over 14,000 pounds per acre and eight of the fourteen hybrids yielded over 13,000 pounds per acre. | |
