dc.description.abstractThis poster will explore the development of books in China in the past, present and the future. China can easily claim a few firsts, including the invention of paper, wood block printing and moveable type. Today China is also advancing rapidly to become a major player in the electronic publishing arena. Challenges and problems such as copyright issues and lack of electronic book display standards will also be discussed in the presentation.
