The solubility of diuron was determined in binary and ternary cosolvent-water systems. The binary systems were composed of a completely miscible organic solvent (CMOS) and water while the ternary systems incorporate partially miscible organic solvents (PMOS) into the binary systems. Due to the low aqueous solubilities of trichloroethylene and toluene, the PMOS's do not behave as cosolvents and they do not play an important role in altering solubility.Type
