Kuwait Water Harvesting System Final Report, Submitted To: Kuwait Institute For Scientific ResearchAbstract
Introduction: The potential of water harvesting is sometimes overlooked in areas of low rainfall that is less than 200 mm. However it is precisely in these areas that the value of water is very high making efficient water harvesting economically viable. A water harvesting system is composed of an improved watershed that is made to be more impervious than in its natural state plus a storage reservoir. In this study a computer program was used using Kuwait daily rainfall and evaporation data. The program was used to determine how much water can be produced on a continuous basis using an efficient water harvesting system.Type
