dc.description.abstractIntroduction: The City of Tucson long-range transportation plan, as adopted in January 1981, called for the construction of a new, six-lane controlled-access "parkway" in the Aviation Corridor, and also identified this area as a possible location for one segment of the recommended regional express transit system. The Aviation Corridor Study is being conducted by the Finical and Dombrowski /Barton- Aschman Associates, Inc., and the University of Arizona Water Resources Research Center (WRRC) has undertaken a data review, field reconnaissance, and preliminary evaluation of potential hydrologic impacts of the proposed project.
