The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has been investigating trichioroethylene (TCE) and related compounds in Arizona groundwater since the solvent was first found in the Tucson International Airport area last spring. TCE is widely used in electronics and metal plating as well as furniture stripping, dry cleaning, and other activities. It can be toxic and has been found to cause cancer in mice.Type
