Due to the highly-dynamic nature of airborne telemetry networks, we have developed the ANTP protocol suite consisting of AeroTP, AeroRP, and AeroNP. Having verified these protocols through simulation and analysis, the next step towards deployment of the ANTP suite is developing a cross-platform implementation of the protocols. Towards this end we present a preliminary architecture for the protocol stack to be implemented in the Python programming language. Initial development and testing is being conducted in the PlanetLab testbed environment, with future trials to be conducted using embedded processors on radio-controlled aircraft and ground vehicles.Sponsors
