dc.description.abstract | Motion estimation is a problem that is encountered in a diverse range of technical fields. This paper demonstrates the development of a solution to the motion estimation problem in the context of imaging systems. First the general case of motion estimation is outlined followed by the special case of micro-periodic motion. The design of an FMCW microwave imaging system optimized for micro-periodic motion is then presented along with experiments and results that support the theory. | |
