The EOLE project, either known as Cooperative Application Satellite-A (CAS/A) consists of a meteorological data collection experiment. It has been lead by CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales-FRANCE) and NASA, since 1965, and the experiment has been running from last days of August 1971 through June 1972.Sponsors
