AbstractA practical system for measurement and radiotelemetry of blood pressure, blood flow and ventricular diameter in conscious, normal animals has been developed and is in routine usage in studies of normal and pathological cardiovascular responses to such perturbations as exercise. The general features of the system, the system specifications and the system limitations and applications are summarized.
