Special circuit design techniques must be used for wideband signal processing systems. These techniques are based on the use of a limited number of circuit types with the multiplier/signal switch as the dominant active signal processing element. The capability of this approach is illustrated in the construction of a 1000 MB/S QPSK Modem and a 200 MB/S data regenerator which uses a true reset integrator for optimum bit-by-bit data reconstruction.Sponsors
