In this paper a high order error measure is used for the evaluation and design of nonlinear modulation schemes. This high order measure works as a deterrent against thresholds effects. Through the use of the above measure, a simple two-dimensional nonlinear modulation scheme is fully analyzed and efficiently designed.Sponsors
