The Air Force Satellite Control Facility’s Remote Tracking Stations, as they are presently configured, are encountering several factors which will change their future viability and utility. These factors include examples such as survivability and endurability requirements, estimates of future Satellite Control Network loading, dependence on foreign ground stations, and life cycle cost. Probable future Remote Tracking Station configurations are discussed in view of these factors.Sponsors
