HF communications are a necessary and vital part of Naval communications. The application of low noise, wide bandwidth HF architectures in satisfaction of this need will be discussed. The development of state of the art, frequency-agile receivers and exciters, decade bandwidth power amplifiers, software programmable modems, and the shipboard architectures exploiting these capabilities will be described.Sponsors
