Recently, many satellite systems started to employ reflective-array compressor (RAC) to demodulate their M-FSK communication signals. Because the RAC’s time delay varies with the temperature, pilot-tones are usually introduced as the operational reference. In this paper, the basic chirp Fourier transform (CFT) is briefly reviewed. Then, investigation into possible pilot-tone interference caused by various chirp signals with RAC’s dispersive delay properties is presented and discussed.Sponsors
