    Abstract
LockheeThe Advanced Data Acquisition and Analytical Processing System (ADAAPS) is a system developed by Fairchild Weston Systems Inc. (FWSI) for Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co. (Lockheed). The system is implemented using the latest technologies in telemetry front-end equipment, host computer systems and graphical workstations. The goal of ADAAPS is to supply Lockheed with a telemetry acquisition and processing system that can service its current needs and expand to service its needs throughout the 1990's. This paper addresses three very important aspects of this telemetry system. First, the Lockheed Flight Test Data Center's telemetry data processing requirements are described. Second, the basis for the system architecture, both hardware and software, is discussed. The third, and possibly the most important aspect, shows how the system architecture can be changed to accommodate future processing requirements of the Flight Test Data Center.
