In this paper the YJ2-4 portable tape recorder, which was recently developed by Beijing Research Institute of Telemetry, is described, and some of its major design features are discussed. YJ2-4 is a high performance, wideband, and microcomputerbased recorder/reproducer system, and compatible with existing international standards in the field of instrumentation tape recording (ISO 6068-1985 and IRIG 106-86).Sponsors
