dc.description.abstract | A digital frequency discriminator (DFD) of the delay-correlator type is described. The device is shown to have an instantaneous frequency measurement capability on very short pulses. The theoretical performance of the DFD in a noisy background is derived and shown to compare favorably with measured results. | |
