This thesis studies family dynamics and their effects on family equilibrium during or after a trauma. It includes a critical introduction that studies, defines, and discusses many issues relating to family dynamics as we see in the world as well as in the writing of many authors' works, including my own. Following are four short stories, each of which is about a family that is dealing with a trauma and puts a lens on the family to study how the equilibrium has been thrown off and how they are attempting to reach it again.Type
