This thesis utilizes concepts of computational and watchdog journalism as a means to map border militarization. The study includes the creation of a mobile app that maps the global, "ground truth" (The GroundTruth Project, 2008), or direct and first-hand observations, of the rise of border building and law-enforcement militarization.Type
