This study exammes a variety of sources of water with the potential for augmenting the water supply in the Santa Cruz Active Management Area. Capturing tributary flash flows or surface reservoir overflows, importing groundwater or Central Arizona Project water, and purchasing eflluent were all considered as possible sources of water and examined. Preliminary designs for two recharge and recovery facilities were presented and recommendations for further work were included. A prioritization matrix was created to rank the projects. They were ranked according to the amount and reliability of water generated, cost, as well as legal and environmental factors associated with each project.Type
