dc.descriptionThe purpose of this handbobk is to assist interested persons in understanding the various procedures and requirements necessary for the development of geothermal energy in the State of Arizona. It contains the names of key persons and agencies who are directly or indirectly involved in the institutional process. Furthermore, a detailed assessment of all agencies and the role they play in geothermal energy development is provided. This handbook is written with the intention of facilitating the understanding of these applicable rules and regulations. It will also provide potential developers with sources of technical and advisory information as well as detail tax incentives and various governmental inducements which are currently available. The handbook is divided into four sections, the first section consists of the State and Local rules and regulations, the second section consists of the Federal rules and regulations, the third section consists of references, and the fourth section consists of a technical bibliography. 70 pages.
