    Description
This report summarizes the mineral and water resources of Arizona. Its purpose is to give factual information about the present supplies of minerals and water in the State and present a realistic appraisal of the supplies that are available for future exploitation. The report is intended mainly for use by governmental officials and agencies, by leaders in industry and commerce, and by schools and the lay public. Specialists in the fields of mineral commodities and water may not find much that is new to them, but it is hoped that they will at least find the report a useful compendium. References to pertinent sources of additional information are cited in the text and listed at the end of each section of the report.
