dc.descriptionThe purpose of this study is to provide detailed geologic information about the area between Pinal Creek and Pinto Creek, north of Globe, to facilitate the relocation of State Highway 88. The map area lies mostly within the 1:24,000 scale U.S.G.S. Salt River Peak 7.5' quadrangle and a small section of the eastern part of the Two Bar Mountain 7.5' quadrangle. Field work was carried out during November and December, 1997.
