• An Evaluation of Anti-Coyote Electric Fencing

Dorrance, M. J.; Bourne, J. (Society for Range Management, 1980-09-01)
Electric fences with alternating charged and grounded wires were evaluated throughout 1 1/2-2 1/2 grazing seasons on five farms under conditions typical of most domestic sheep operations in the forested areas of Alberta. These fences eliminated or sharply reduced predation and appear to be an economical, effective, nonlethal method for preventing coyote predation of domestic livestock.
