Composition of Two Disclimax Bluejoint Stands in Southcentral AlaskaThe composition of two disclimax bluejoint stands was determined prior to their being committed to grazing use in southcentral Alaska. The stands were essentially monotypic in their grass constituency with forbs and woody species comprising over 50% of the shoot density and well over 60% of the yield. Bluejoint was the only plant of grazing value found in quantity in the two communities.
