Are market forces at work in determining range forage values? This study tests the hypothesis that market forces are at work in spite of the facts of administered grazing fees, rationing, and grazing control. The evidence in the research supports the hypothesis, and it should assist ranchers and public land agencies in their deliberations on adjusting public land grazing policies.Type
