dc.description.abstract | Moisture content, organic content, carbonate, and calcium content of soils were higher in protected fields than in grazed fields. Soils in overgrazed fields were comparatively coarser in texture and lower in total porosity than in protected fields. Soil pH and nitrate contents showed no marked differences. | |
