In this thesis I will address the current political climate, the divide it has caused, and how it is posing a threat on the ability to make sound policy decisions that benefit all groups of people in America. The current political climate has caused a huge shift in healthcare, as well as led to overarching complications in the healthcare system. The lackof unanimity in the way healthcare should be addressed is a factor that has led to the chaotic political climate that we experience today. Whether it be prescription cost, drug abuse, or women’s healthcare, there have been many negative implications from the lackof a functioning healthcare system. The Federal system in the United States lacks a balance of power, and the current administration has posed considerable debate in regard to the way healthcare should be addressedType
