dc.description.abstract | Fieldwork for the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) radiocarbon program was recently completed. Ca. 9000 samples were collected for analysis using both conventional beta-counting techniques and the newer AMS technique. The mean uncertainty for the beta analyses is 3 per mil; for AMS analyses, ca. 4.5 per mil degrees. | |
