dc.description.abstract | Symphony No. 2 is an experiment in romanticism. The work is a composition in four movements, exploring orchestration, formal elements, styles of the 21st century inspired by those traditions of the classical and romantic periods, and thematic metamorphosis – the primary underpinning of the work. The duration of the composition is roughly 26 minutes, and it is written for a standard-sized orchestra. | |
