Equity and justice as central components of climate change adaptation

Abstract

Climate change and inequity are deeply intertwined. In this issue of One Earth, Araos et al. assess how social equity and justice are applied in global climate adaptation responses. Here, I highlight how evaluation can help the adaptation community address root causes of unequal vulnerability to climate change.
