dc.description.abstractWith a given Campus Master Plan and site information, the design of the Center for Innovation responds to the needs for growth on the Texas A&M campus in Killeen, Texas. The architectural design of the building promotes collaboration and innovation in multiple disciplines of study including, but not limited to, material fabrication, product testing, engineering design, and research. Additionally, architectural features of the building highlight strategies in sustainability utilized in the building systems. Engineering design of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems provide a comprehensive exposition of building functionality and methodologies of construction. Provided are full construction documents and a workbook detailing the systems within the building.
