| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this curriculum is to provide supplemental lessons to expand and diversify Tully Magnet Elementary School’s current garden curriculum as well as to be shared as a stand-alone curriculum with the UA Community and School Garden Program in hopes of future implementation at other garden locations. The curriculum was created and taught as an elective to fourth and fifth graders during the Fall 2021 semester at Tully Magnet Elementary School. The aim of this paper is to share the process of its creation, implementation, and an evaluation of an interdisciplinary curriculum that has aspects of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and mindfulness on top of other academic fields such as botany, environmental science, and Indigenous knowledge. | |
