Symphony No. 1 is an original musical composition based on the events of the worldwide pandemic of 2020-2021. This work is written for piccolo, three flutes, two oboes, English horn, two clarinets in B-flat, bass clarinet, two bassoons, contrabassoon, four horns in F, four trumpets in B- flat, three trombones, bass trombone, tuba in BB-flat, timpani, triangle, wood block, slapstick, tambourine, suspended cymbal, piatti, metal and glass wind chimes, snare drum, bass drum, tubular bells, glockenspiel, xylophone, marimba, pianoforte, celesta, harp, violin I section, violin II section, viola section, violoncello section, and contrabass section. All themes are original and do not intentionally quote other works.All examples provided in the appendix are given in concert pitch (unless otherwise indicated).Type
