The Critical Librarianship and Pedagogy Symposium brings "together the ongoing, but parallel discourse surrounding critical pedagogy among academic librarians, critical pedagogy scholars, and teaching faculty."

The symposium was held November 2nd-4th, 2022. The symposium is sponsored by The University of Arizona Libraries.

Submission Instructions

Conference presenters are invited to submit their conference materials to ensure persistent public long-term access and archiving. University of Arizona affiliates can submit conference materials using their UA logon credentials; submitters from other institutions must register for a repository account and submit using that account.

  • Register for the repository at https://repository.arizona.edu/register (UA affiliates can skip this step.)
  • Login at https://repository.arizona.edu/login.
  • Click "Submissions" on the left-side navigation, under the "My Account" section
  • Click "Start a New Submission"
  • Select the 2022 Critical Librarianship and Pedagogy Symposium collection from the drop-down menu
  • Click Next
  • Enter descriptive metadata:
  • Title
  • Author names
  • Author affiliations
  • Creative Commons license (optional)
  • Abstract/summary
  • Keywords
  • Link to website/YouTube, etc. (optional)

IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT click the checkboxes next to author names, affiliations, keywords, etc UNLESS you wish to remove the values.

  • Click Next
  • Choose file/s to upload
  • Click Next
  • Review submission - correct any descriptive values or files if needed
  • Click Next
  • Review the UA Campus Repository Distribution License, click the checkbox next to "I Grant the License" and click Complete Submission
  • We'll review and approve your submission. You will receive an email when your submission is publicly available.
