SO THIS IS LOVE

Abstract

The finished product of my thesis is much different than I anticipated. As written in my prospectus, my initial plan was to curate a dance performance, showcasing the choreography of world- renowned Fredrick Earl Mosley and student choreographers, to raise money for a local cancer organization. Due to different circumstances, my project transformed into a 3-day long residency with Fredrick Earl Mosley at the School of Dance and volunteering on my own with Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona. In collaboration with the School of Dance, I flew out Fredrick Earl Mosley and he taught five inspiring classes in the Horton technique, as well as introduced himself to the School of Dance environment in order to build a mutually beneficial relationship between him and the dance program.
