dc.description.abstract | The Joint Advance Missile Instrumentation (JAMI) project developed a GPS-based tracking system for high-speed missiles and targets in the early 2000s. The components are obsolete and the system is sun setting. To continue to support programs that are using JAMI components a Software JAMI Ground Segment (sJGS) Module is being developed. The sJGS will replace the legacy JAMI Ground Segment (JGS) Cards in the JDP computer. This will extend the life of the JAMI system until it is replaced. This paper provides some preliminary information on the sJGS module and how it might work to give the DoD Ranges and JAMI Users a heads up on the upcoming changes. | |
