Understanding mental health encompasses various therapeutic modalities, among which creative arts play a significant role. This paper investigates the positive influence of creative arts, including visual arts, music, theater, and dance, on adolescent mental health. Traditional and nontraditional approaches to mental health services are discussed, highlighting the preference for face-to-face contact with mental health professionals. The paper reviews psychological treatments, emphasizing the effectiveness of the creative arts. As the study delves into the impact of creative arts, it shifts its focus on visual arts, dance, drama, and music on adolescent mental wellbeing. Findings from various interventions underscore the benefits of creative arts in improving self-awareness, coping skills, and emotional regulation among adolescents. Additionally, the paper explores cultural attitudes toward mental health and the importance of understanding cultural factors in mental health treatment. Overall, creative arts emerge as a valuable tool in enhancing mental health outcomes for adolescents, offering alternative avenues for expression and healing beyond traditional therapeutic approaches.Type
