This document provides a comprehensive analysis and practical performance guide for four song cycles composed by Arthur Honegger: Six Poèmes d'Apollinaire, Six Poèmes de Jean Cocteau, Trois Chansons de la Petite Sirène, and Petit Cours de Morale. These works, corresponding to four distinct periods of Honegger’s career, reflect his evolving vocal writing style and his ability to combine musical elements with the poetic depth of the text. The primary goal of this study is to examine Honegger’s vocal writing and to explore effective strategies for collaboration in French art songs from the perspective of a collaborative pianist.Type
