ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The SMRC Revista is the periodical of the Southwestern Mission Research Center, an affiliate of the Arizona State Museum’s Office of Ethnohistorical Research, at the University of Arizona. First published in February 1967 under the title SMRC-Newsletter, its title changed in Summer 2002 (Vol. 36, no. 131) to reflect its expansion into a magazine. With a focus on the historical Spanish Borderlands—that greater area now separated by the international border between the United States and Mexico—the SMRC Revista features news items, an annotated bibliography section, and articles written for an avocational and professional audience. It is currently published on an occasional basis.

Digital access to this material is made possible through a collaboration between the Arizona State Museum (an affiliate of SMRC) and the University Libraries at the University of Arizona. The current issue of SMRC Revista is not included in this archive, but is available through SMRC membership, https://southwestmissions.org/.
